Plantation, Land Management & Revegetation
Our Focus
We establish and manage forestry and agroforestry systems that restore degraded and underutilized land while improving long-term productivity. Our forestry operations focus on sustainable reforestation and responsible timber development. Through agroforestry systems, we integrate bamboo with food crops such as maize and cassava — supporting farmer livelihoods while generating renewable biomass.
Impact & Output
KG Biomass leases degraded forest reserves from the Forestry Commission for reforestation purposes. We are currently developing about 385 hectares of degraded lands with bamboo and multi species, for forest restoration and carbon sequestration. Our target for next year is embark on the reforestation of 20,000 hectares of degraded Lands between 2027 and 2029. Our forestry department carefully cultivates and supplies bamboo culms, a versatile and fast-growing renewable source of biomass.
Revegetation & Landscaping Management
Our Focus
We partner with businesses, landowners, and communities to restore degraded and underutilized lands by planting native species that improve soil health, enhance biodiversity, prevent erosion, and support long-term ecosystem resilience. Through strategic landscaping management, we design, establish, and maintain green spaces that are both environmentally sustainable and visually appealing.
Impact & Output
Our services include site preparation, native planting programs, ongoing landscape maintenance, vegetation control, and land rehabilitation planning. By integrating revegetation with professional landscaping management, we enhance the local environment, sequester carbon, and create sustainable biomass sources while improving land value.
Biomass Aggregation & Supply
Our Focus
We aggregate biomass from our own plantations and partner growers to ensure consistent quality, dependable volumes, and reliable delivery. Our supply systems are structured to meet the demands of industrial customers at scale, with strong quality control and efficient logistics.
Impact & Output
Our Biomass Supply Chain Department is dedicated to managing the entire lifecycle of our biomass products, from sourcing and processing to delivery. We work tirelessly to ensure our supply chain is efficient, sustainable, and reliable, meeting the high standards expected by our clients.
Processing & Manufacturing
Our Focus
We add value to biomass through efficient, integrated processing and manufacturing. Bamboo grown within our agroforestry sector is processed on-site into bamboo chips, ensuring quality control and reduced transport impact.
Impact & Output
KG Biomass produces rough-sawn teak squares for export from responsibly managed sources for commercial and industrial applications. Our processing focuses on consistent dimensions, reliable quality, and efficient preparation for international shipment, meeting the requirements of commercial and industrial buyers across global markets.
Integrated Operations at Kwamang-Jeduako
At Kwamang-Jeduako in the Ashanti Region, KG Biomass operates an integrated agroforestry and processing site. Bamboo is intercropped with maize and cassava and processed directly at source into bamboo chips and other biomass products.
In addition, we operate a bamboo nursery where high-quality seedlings are raised for sale to farmers, commercial growers, and restoration projects — supporting the expansion of sustainable bamboo cultivation.
This integrated model improves operational efficiency, ensures quality consistency, reduces transport-related emissions, strengthens overall supply reliability, and promotes wider adoption of climate-smart agroforestry systems.
